The Landcruiser 70 Series is the Last Game in Town in it's Class

The Land Rover Defender has passed to it's grave. The Nissan Patrol Y61 is slowly heading in that direction. Australia stopped selling it last year. Only the Middle East/Africa and humanitarian markets remain. The chief engineer of the Landcruiser 70 series, Sadayoshi Koyari, says that production will continue indefinitely and that it won't suffer the same fate as the Defender and Patrol. “As long as there are customers that need the car, I think we will also produce the 70 Series,” Mr Koyari said at the Frankfurt motor show this week.
